Red left turn signal even when no traffic:
Heading south on N. Point Pkwy., trying to turn left onto Preston Ridge Rd (YMCA and Greenway). There is a red light for left turn even when main light is green and no oncoming traffic. I assume this is in place because of limited visibility due to curve in road and landscaped median.
Suggestion: allow left turns while yielding to northbound traffic, especially during periods of light traffic (evenings and weekends).
Seems to be enough visibility here to support that.

Left turns are allowed only on a green turn arrow at this location due to safety issues. Sight lines at this location are insufficient, especially given the typical travel speeds and volume of traffic, to make the allowance of uncontrolled left turn movements safe.
Our Traffic Engineer will analyze the locatiion to determine if additional adjustments to the duration of the green time for the turn signal can be made during off-peak periods.
