Please note that, while the roadway is open, work along Westside Parkway continues. Streetlights, landscaping, and other aesthetic elements are still to be installed. The conduit pipe referenced int he photo relates to that work and will not be visible once the work is completed.
Thanks. Just didn't want the contractor to think it was all finished and then walk away with a release signature from the city. That and I keep seeing this eye-catching conduit every time I look out of my home office window.
Sorry, but this is incorrect. I have been looking out my office window for 7 months now and even today this eye sore is still there. Please get the contractor out to cover it up, just as they have done the rest of the way up and down Westside Pkwy. This 30 or so feet that they just left open because it was off on the side of a residential hill is unacceptable.
Problem resolved. I went by on foot and, upon closer inspection, notices that one end...then the other end...was open. Bottom line: this is just a piece of scrap/trash left by the contractors when they prepared the road for the grand opening. I moved it up by the street so that it could be easily identified and picked up.
There's also more scrap up the road, just in the curve (on the same side -- opposite side from the Avalon lot).
Thank you for the addiitonal information. City crews were out today collecting such stray scraps and will be back out tomorrow to complete the collection.
